What the CDD500-R850 is designed to do

The CDD500-R850 uses battery-powered travel and electric lifting. Its hydraulic system operates the roll clamp, including lifting, clamping, releasing, and rotation. This combines movement and orientation in one coordinated handling sequence instead of requiring separate equipment for every step.

1. Approach the roll on a hard, level floor.
2. Align the clamp with the center of the roll.
3. Close the clamp and confirm the roll is securely held.
4. Lift only after checking the rated range and center position.
5. Travel with the roll low and stable.
6. Raise at the stationary transfer or stacking point.
7. Check clearance before rotating.
8. Release only after the roll is fully supported.

Why roll alignment matters

Using the 360° rotation function

The CDD500-R850 manual lists a 360° clamp rotation angle. This can support roll orientation for production, inspection, rewinding, packaging, or storage. Before rotating, raise the roll to an appropriate safe position and confirm clearance from the floor, truck body, rack, machine, and people. Release the roll only after it is stable and reliably supported.

Safety and working environment

The manual limits use to hard, level ground with adequate lighting. It prohibits flammable, explosive, acidic, alkaline, corrosive, and heavily dusty environments. The stated operating conditions include an altitude not exceeding 1,000 m and an ambient temperature range from -25°C to +40°C.

Only trained and authorized operators should use the truck. Daily checks should cover the clamp, controls, emergency power-off switch, wheels, battery condition, hydraulic system, and warning functions. When parked, lower the clamp, switch off the key, remove it, and secure the truck as instructed.
