Case Study: Custom Rotatable Lift Table Solution for Australian Logistics Partner

Our Australian partner approached Sinolift with a bottleneck in their client’s assembly line. Standard scissor lifts provided the vertical travel needed but lacked the ability to rotate goods for ergonomic positioning.

The core constraints were:

1. Stability: The base needed to be square to handle off-center loads.

2. Profile: The rotation mechanism could not add significant "stack height" to the unit.

3. Operation: Rotation needed to be effortless for a single operator even under 2,000kg loads.

Engineering Solution: The "Square-in-Circle" Architecture

While many competitors suggest a "bolted-on" turntable (which increases height and reduces stability), the Sinolift R&D team engineered a flush-mount integrated solution.

Key Technical Features:

• Hybrid Platform: A heavy-duty 1500mm x 1500mm square platform acting as the structural foundation.

• Embedded Turntable: A precision-machined 1200mm circular disk recessed directly into the square top, creating a perfectly flat surface.

• High-Load Slewing Ring: Utilizing industrial-grade internal bearings to ensure 360° manual rotation with minimal friction.

• Safety Interlocks: Equipped with mechanical floor locks to prevent rotation during the lifting/lowering phase.

The Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)

In late March 2026, the Australian delegation visited our Shanghai manufacturing base for a hands-on demonstration.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Verified:

• Zero-Deflection Lift: The scissor mechanism showed <0.5% lateral movement at max height.

• Rotational Torque: The client successfully rotated a 1.5-ton test load with one hand.

• Safety Compliance: The unit met all AS/NZS 2359 (Australian Standards) for powered industrial trucks and lifting equipment.
